DTP tNexus ACDM™ is a centralized operating system that allows airports, airlines, ground handlers, and air traffic control (ATC) to track and implement the 16 IATA-prescribed ACDM milestones in real time and alerts them about disruptions in operations, thereby closing potential knowledge gaps and avoiding the cumulative effects of a single delay.

How It Helps

DTP tNexus ACDM utilizes its highly configurable rules and smart event-processing engines to handle exceptions. It re-evaluates and updates flight status every time a notification is received and it flags delays in real time, showing their consequences on other activities and target off-block time (TOBT).

In case of exceptions, it alerts airport, ground handlers, and airline operations to take immediate and proactive action to ensure on-time departure or to minimize delay.

Information sharing and milestone approach are the core elements of DTP tNexus ACDM, where information sharing enhances situational awareness and milestone approach enables predictability of the aircraft turnaround process.

Aircraft Turnaround Management

Overview

All airlines and airports have daily and standard operational processes, but rarely do they operate on schedule and as planned.

DTP tNexus Precision Tracking Schedule (PTS)™ is a state-of-the-art turnaround management solution that enables airlines, ground handlers, and airports to manage their turnaround processes in real time. It aims to improve delay and disruption predictability and achieve on-time performance (OTP).  The solution supports multi-airports configuration, which makes it possible to track movements at remote airports as well.

How It Helps

The solution provides the following main components: PTS Editor and PTS Engine.

PTS Editor allows users to create templates of interlinked turnaround events. Users can generate templates from 60 built-in PTS data points, based on criteria such as turnaround time, airline, ground handler, aircraft type, and destination, among others.

PTS Engine automatically selects the right process template for a flight. It schedules estimated start/stop time of each activity, captures activities’ actual start/stop times, calculates delays, and then derives the impact of delays on subsequent activities. The engine is capable of calculating the flight’s TOBT and hence can identify process delays. The PTS engine can also detect disruptions and dynamically modify processes.

Aeronautical Data Verification

Overview

Low-quality data can cost airports and airlines millions in lost revenue and productivity due to inaccurate billing and erroneous reports and analysis. Flight data, based on which billing, reporting, and analysis are performed, constantly change and originate from multiple systems across different stakeholders. These make them susceptible to human errors and software bugs that can lead to data incompleteness and discrepancies.

DTP tNexus Data Quality Check System (DQCS)™ is an aviation-centric solution that helps airports and airlines achieve data precision, accuracy, and reliability. The core of this module is a sophisticated and flexible rules engine where stakeholders can easily define rules to capture and flag inconsistencies and take corrective measures while the flights are still in the operational time window.

The solution provides airports and airlines the ability to detect and solve discrepancies instantly, instead of going through lengthy flight data audits at month end, which in turn saves time and effort, on top of obtaining high-quality and accurate data.

Aviation Message Parsing

Overview

The daily volume of aviation messages for the global air transport and travel industry is over 45 million. Airports and airlines rely on these messages and data exchange to manage every operational and mission-critical aspect of their businesses, therefore it is essential that these messages are handled and processed effectively.

DTP tNexus Message Hub™ is a smart aviation message storage and parsing solution that helps airport and airline operations manage high volume of messages from various sources, including standard channels and emails, and ensures every message reaches its intended receiver. It is capable of parsing custom and standard messages, such as IATA type B.

How It Helps

While there are standards set by IATA that govern the message format, many messages do not follow them. These non-standard messages lead to critical data being uncaptured and to an extended amount of time lost in manual data entry, resulting in operational inefficiencies, discrepancies, and disputes. Moreover, the industry is willing to adopt custom aviation messages to fulfill their specific needs, however there were no solutions that can address this requirement.

Message Hub solves these issues by having the ability to manage both standard and custom messages. The solution allows operations to process custom messages using a dedicated toolbox and capture all data elements and propagate them to other operational systems using the latest aviation integration standards.
